Implementing Organization of the PEPPA Project
Global Youth Tie
Global Youth Tie (GYT) is a social enterprise dedicated to encouraging public participation, particularly among the younger generation, in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and fostering responsible global citizenship. The term “Tie” embodies the concept of “bonding together,” reflecting our belief that all nations and individuals are interconnected, sharing both the benefits and challenges of economic development. Since 2017, GYT program has collaborated with trainers worldwide to engage Chinese youth in international development issues. Through project-based learning (PBL), study tours, and field research, we have facilitated programs in Thailand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Dubai, Australia, and China.
To date, GYT has provided consulting, design, and implementation services for SDG integration and general education to a diverse array of partners. These include international organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) , Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the European Union (EU); academic consortia like the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC); governmental bodies such as China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment (CEEC); corporations like Baidu; as well as various communities and schools.
