This program takes participants to the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, where they will engage in SDGs general education courses while immersing themselves in one of China’s most ecologically significant regions.
Participants will:
• Explore the pristine forests and diverse wildlife of the protected area
• Observe the endangered Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys at close range and study their behavioral patterns
• Conduct community visits to understand the cultural interactions between Tibetan and Lisu ethnic groups
• Learn about rare and endangered species, biodiversity conservation, and the relationship between ecological protection and local community development
Through integrated coursework, field observation, and cultural inquiry, students will enhance their global perspective and sustainable development literacy, empowering them to become advocates and pioneers for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Participants
• Families with children aged 7 and above
• Students aged 10 and above may participate independently”
